Overview
Hammond is committed to the development of a diverse student body that is reflective of our global community. We accept students from across the world who seek a challenging American education. The benefits of our international program are twofold. Students from abroad come to Hammond to immerse themselves in the culture and enjoy the academic advantages the school offers. In turn, our international students enhance the experience for the Hammond community, providing a more global perspective of the world around them.
International students may begin their study at Hammond in 9th grade and are offered full exposure to a multi-disciplinary curriculum and rich extracurricular program. They are fully integrated into the Hammond community and are required to have a high English proficiency. In addition to the regular curriculum, ESL classes are offered as a support for students to improve their English skills and strengthen their ability to meet the demands of a rigorous curriculum.
