For over fifty years, Hammond students have distinguished themselves in the classroom and on the playing fields and courts. The school has been recognized for the quality of its athletic programs and the success its teams have achieved in state and local competition. Likewise, many of the school’s scholar-athletes have continued to experience success beyond Hammond–– at the collegiate level and beyond. As a means of recognizing those individuals who have directly impacted Hammond’s athletic programs, within the school community and beyond, Hammond is pleased to announce its third class of the Athletics Hall of Fame.
Criteria for nomination to The Hammond Athletics Hall of Fame includes 1) the student-athletes success at Hammond and beyond, 2) the impact of a coach on student-athletes, both on and off the playing field, or 3) the positive contributions made to Hammond athletics.
