Music

The music program is primarily an avenue for all Hammond students to use their voices and SING! The non-threatening environment encourages all ages to recognize that music can bring pleasure to participants as well as to audiences. A variety of group and individual experiences utilizes vocal and ensemble techniques, multicultural styles, and choral literature. As the singers develop their musical knowledge, skills and appreciation, they are given opportunities to present concerts and to participate in competitions.
